Gavin Francis has been a solicitor with Douros Jackson since 2005. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 2004 has over 14 years’ experience as a solicitor.
Gavin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Sydney and has completed his Masters of Law from the University of Sydney.
Gavin has experience in the areas of general and commercial litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, debt recovery, along with corporate law, banking and finance, and general contractual disputes.
Gavin’s client base includes banks, leasing companies, financial lenders, insolvency firms, public companies and private business, along with individuals.
Gavin is consistently involved with litigation proceedings in all states and territories throughout Australia in all ourts from Local & Magistrates Courts to Supreme Courts. Gavin is regularly involved with matters within the Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court jurisdictions.
Gavin also has experience in alternative dispute resolution methods, including NCAT and the NSW Small Business Commissioner.
